Career Guidance Club
The needs of a rural college are different. So are the skill sets found in rural India. Intelligence and skills vary regionally based on opportunities. While it may not be a pragmatic exercise to prepare people for the software and computing domains, the primary aim of the career guidance club is to make people employable.
Mr. A.Amirthalingam is currently managing the affairs of this cell in linking local requirement and student expertise. Some students who possess aptitude to work in the metros move even to Bangalore to establish themselves.
Many others are provided jobs in the neighbourhood cities such as Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirupur and many more. Dr. S.Karuppusamy, Head, Department of Business Administration who is an entrepreneur himself conducts training sessions to students of all classes in preparing resume, Job skills and interview skills.
They are further guided into writing civil services exams, choosing higher education in institutions of repute and counseling for business enterprise. UPSC coaching is offered systematically by Dr. T.Santhi, Head of Tamil Studies every evening between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
